I stood there letting Kia take the course and let me feel his lips, but before I could feel them against mine, we heard someone clearing their throat. I tried to push him, but that did not make Kai back away, and he was concentrated on only kissing me, "Doctor Kai," The nurse called him from behind.

It was such a mood breaker, "What is it?" He asked in a frustrated tone, without losing his grip over me, I tried to move away but all in vain.

I saw him clench his jaw, and I did not dare do it again. While the nurse was standing still, I could feel her eyes all over me, and it would be a surprise if she did not stare like that, and now I am sure we'll be the topic for the gossip for all of them.

"I asked you something!" Kai snapped, bringing her back to him, and the reason she was out here for him.

"The patient, he's got in a cardiac, the other doctors are calling you to join them" She spoke, and listening it, I could feel my heart sank.

Kai rushed back leaving my alone, the nurse ran back with him into the Intensive Care, and I was left alone with my thoughts.

'I was so close to kissing him-' "Stop Nina!" I reminded my mind to stop all of it, there was more important things for me to deal with me.

'He left without saying a word..' The voice kept ringing, but isn't that what a doctor's supposed to be, and isn't that the reason that made me fall for him?

I tried to reason his action walking away from the hall toward the elevator, "Stop it!" I warned the voice ringing in the back of my head trying to calm down.

"Yes, right. This is not the time to think about anything else but Liam," I can not loose my only family. I need to and will do anything to make sure my brother is saved.

The elevator opened wide and I hopped pressing the button to the ground floor, my delivery bike is still parked there, I need to give it back as soon as possible.

Taking my phone out I scroll down the notes, seeing how many hospitals were left to check for me.

"Only two left," For the past five months, I searched every single hospital but it was all for nothing.

There was a long list of people waiting for the donor, "Please God help me, you already took my parents from me, let my brother stay here with me" I begged the lords, it would be great if they heard my prayers.

Never in my life did they hear me, but still I raise my hopes always wishing them to hear my plea and cry for help.

The elevator stopped, I marched towards my bike and rode off to the hospital and it was more like a donation center.

"I'm telling you, there is nothing we can do!" The woman standing by the reception speaks harshly to the elderly woman standing by the desk.

I know I'm not in the situation to help anyone, but I couldn't walk away, right. I moved close to the reception and saw the woman crying, I reached out to help her but a man came towards her taking her away.

"Yes, ma'am how can I help you?" The woman asks me bringing me back to her.

"Oh, yes, I am here for the heart donation, I had applied for it six months ago" I spoke and she looked at me puzzled, and I know this expression, she'll fake to type something on her keyboard and say 'Ma'am we are sorry to inform you, there is no donor'

"Your name ma'am?" She asks, I "Nina Ling," I replied and her facial expression changed, making me turn to the lords and pray for a miracle, just one miracle.

She rose from her seat "Ma'am, this way please" This is new, am I finally getting the donor for my brother?

"Mamma, this is for the best," I heard the man from behind consoling his mother. I really want to listen to her but I already have my own problems to deal with.

There was so many times I was turned down after getting my hopes high.
