Chapter 8

Today's Sunday, I have listed everything I will buy because the groceries in the kitchen are running low, I also need to buy other necessities because the stocks at home are running low.

I got up to prepare breakfast.

Ashton doesn't have work every Sunday, but he's often gone early because he always has a walk, but I was surprised because he was downstairs cooking.

"Morning" he greeted me while cooking fried rice and I immediately sat down for a while when Nyko's name suddenly popped up on the screen.

Nyko:

Morning Trin, you have breakfast.

I smiled and immediately typed a message; I even took a picture and sent it to him.

"So, you're not even going to greet me, you're going to text first. Who is that guy of yours who lives next door?" Ashton said bitterly, I didn't know I was in front of him, breakfast was already ready, but he was the only one with a plate.

"Go away, you're ruining the morning. You put others first than your husband" he said angrily, so I just left because I might get beaten up again.

I just started to clean the living room and I saw Nyko by the window watering the plants, he waved at me, so I waved back and smiled but suddenly left.

"Just clean up and stop flirting" Ashton uttered while staring at me with his raging eyes.

"What's your problem? The person just waved and you think he flirted" I said annoyed and left him there.

I just continued cleaning.

He followed behind me while I was busy cleaning when I remembered that I should go grocery shopping now because I still have a lot to clean, and my cleaner is also down.

Even though it was against my heart, I still faced him and talked to him.

"Ashton, I'm going grocery shopping, we don't have any stocks anymore, I just want to ask why we don't even have a maid?" I'm curious but I shouldn't have asked.

"What do you want, you're just being stupid here? I'm your husband, you should do the chores," he said, making me wince.

"Here's the money, buy the things you need, I'll wait here in the house" he reached for the money and sat down in the living room on the stairs.

"What?!" His forehead was still furrowed and then he pouted.

"It's just that I want someone to be with in here, isn't okay because I don't often have people with me. I just want to talk to someone like that" I promised him sadly.

I left him to get ready and go to the grocery store. I just wore a plain white shirt and shorts because it was hot. Right after I got off, someone rang the doorbell.

I didn't expect any visitors, I went straight to our gate and immediately saw Nyko.

"Hi Trin, where are you going? I'll come with you" he promised with a smile when someone spoke behind me.

"My husband and I will go grocery shopping so mind your own business" he said with emphasis on my wife.

I suddenly felt butterflies in my stomach, but I immediately changed my emotions because I know it's only a lie.

"That's right, I'm going to go grocery shopping because I'm out of stock, can I come with Trin?" Nyko said with puppy eyes, so I immediately agreed.

"Yeah-" Ashton immediately cut off what I was about to say.

"No, you will only be a third party, so you should go grocery shopping alone" he said bitterly and tormented Nyko even more.

"No, Nyko, don't listen to that, of course you can come, come on" Ashton just laughed because Nyko and I were already ahead.

"We're going to ride in my car" Ashton said and he got into the driver's seat, me in the back with Nyko.

"You prefer to be next to your friend than your husband?" Ashton said a bit irritated, but I ignored him.

"Nyko and I will laugh and my neck hurts when I turn around" I answered flatly and spoke to Nyko again.

He just drove while Nyko and I chatted and chatted sometimes we even laughed because of his jokes.

The drive was quick so we got off and I was in the middle of them when we entered the grocery store, and we immediately got a cart but they are fighting over who will bring it.

In the end, Nyko was the one who brought the cart because he was going to buy it because he often didn't have it.

I heard Ashton whisper that he shouldn't have gone grocery shopping, he didn't have any.

We have put a lot of stuff in, every time Nyko and I are laughing, he will suddenly inhale so loudly that sometimes we turn to him.

Sometimes he tries to talk to me but I am more entertained by Nyko so I ignore him.

After putting everything we needed, we went to the cashier to pay, Nyko even insisted that he should pay because he said I had brought him along, but Ashton had preceded him.

When carrying the grocery bag, they still fought, I was stressed, so I gave them two each to be fair.

We are already walking to the parking lot to go home and have lunch that I will cook.

"Nyko, join us for lunch" I said to Nyko and her face immediately lit up.

Ashton also turned his attention to his phone because it rang. I took the groceries first so he could talk to the person who called the company.

"Babe?" he said and looked at me.

"My maid and I went shopping for stocks, are you at home?"

"We're just about to go home bye babe" he said and looked at me again like he is teasing me into something.

I didn't bother to ask anyway so I just let him.

I want to rest my heart now, so I won't affect them.

We got into Ashton's car after arranging the groceries in the back of the car and Nyko and I did the same.

I immediately saw the car parked.

Ashton immediately parked and we went down, Nyko and I immediately put down the things I bought because Ashton had left us.

"Trin, are you jealous?" Nyko tempted me and I immediately tickled him.

We laughed as we carried our groceries, we entered the house, I immediately saw them in the living room flirting, I just went to the kitchen to fix the groceries.

"Trin, the plastic is slowly crumbling," Nyko said with a laugh while I was startled because the plastic, I was holding was really bad for me.

Nyko also helped with the cooking and was very happy because he said he could taste my cooking with his participation.

It was finally cooked, and I was hungry, so we immediately served.

"Let's eat" I called to Ashton, they ignored me but followed the table.

"So, I didn't know that the maid can join you for the meal, you brought your boyfriend with you, you're such a whore" his girlfriend said artfully while Ashton just grinned at me.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, go ahead and eat," I put aside what Nyko, and I were supposed to eat.

"Nyko, let's go to the garden, there's an umbrella there" Nyko immediately followed suit

We walked for a while and were silent for a while, Nyko must have sensed that I lost my mood.

I invited him to sit but he just shook his head and spoke.

"Your husband's slut is really something" Nyko snorted and then he pretended to be gay.

"Are you really gay or a man? Poor girlfriend" I said with a laugh, but he just pressed me against the wall.

"What gay? Who am I gay? Do you want to test me so you can't say I'm gay Trin" he said teasingly and brought his face closer to mine.

"A-you're s-serious, I'm just kidding" I stammered as I pushed him a little.

"We're done eating Trin" I froze at Ashton's voice, he was on our side leaning against a tree next to the door to the kitchen.

He looked bad, especially at my hand still on Nyko's chest, so I immediately put it down.

"A-alright I-I'm going" I stammered to him and didn't look because I was afraid of what might happen.

I immediately pulled Nyko so that we could eat, but he stood on the side of the road but was still looking at my every move.

After Nyko and I ate, he immediately went home because he said he had to take care of some work, Ashton's girlfriend also went home because she said she had something to do with her company.

I was putting away what we ate when Ashton grabbed my arm.

"I thought it was just a friend, but what did I see earlier, then you want to be with him more than me, you're always so happy" he told me angrily, so I couldn't hold back anymore and answered.

"I'm still a flirty, so what do you call yourself? You flirt face to face with your girlfriend, but I'm just a maid in your eyes" I promised him sarcastically and also gave him a bad look.

I was struggling in his grip when he suddenly slammed me against the wall and held me by the neck causing me to be unable to breathe.

"Your delusional slut, I married you all, everything, and then you scold me, why do you want me to love you, I did it for my family, not for you!" he said furiously and left me bleeding.

I felt my sight blurring, but I didn't mind it.

I immediately went upstairs crying, I lost my appetite, so I just cried all night in my room until I fell asleep...
