She looked happy.

Getting her a phone jumped into my mind at the last minute at the store. And, well, it would be in my favour, because it would be easier to get across to her from any location around the world.

As long as she loved it, I was okay. It was one of the latest models the store attendant said they had, and it took some moments for me to appreciate the beauty.

Tension prickled the back of my neck.

Not a good sign.
