No internal bleeding. No complications. Just weakness from loss of blood, and fatigue.
That was a relief. A huge one. Initially, I thought they'd ask to admit him till the weekend or even till the following week, but the doctor said he just needed rest and lots of food.
There was a neat bandage around his head. More bandages around his chest and abdomen. And more around his biceps.
So much white tied around him that he almost looked like a mummified Egyptian god. By the time some men came to assist me in taking Kenzo home, it was past midnight.
What a day.
It was always funny how we pushed programs into our day only to have the schedule completely changed due to an unexpected circumstance.
