Chapter 24 Unfamiliar place

Mr Qin was signing something on a document when his assistant, Fu Ziyu, had asked him the question that would linger in his mind for days to come. As his pen scratched across the paper, his hand came to a pause.

He didn't know why he had felt pity for the young woman he had saved from the pouring rain tonight. Nor did he understand why he had gone out in the storm to rescue her.

The documents before him were of utmost importance, but his thoughts were elsewhere. His thought kept swirling around the woman he had brought home of all; it was the one who he had deemed as a nuisance.

Mr Qin, a man of extraordinary charisma, stood up from his grand desk. His chiseled features, adorned with a pair of white-rimmed glasses, enhanced his already striking handsomeness.

If one were to glimpse him in this moment, they might mistake him for a modern-day deity from the silver screen.
