Chapter 26 Strange woman

Last night's event had affected her so much that she wasn't really herself. Her frustrations had gotten the best of her, and she had spoken rudely about Mr. Qin and his mother, a name unfamiliar to her until that moment.

What she didn't know was that he was only a few meters behind her, his strong hand holding a cup of hot tea.

As the words against his mother escaped her lips, Mr. Qin felt a surge of irritation, but he knew he wasn't entirely blameless in the situation.

He had made an effort to keep his emotions in check when he responded, but it didn't come out as smoothly as he had expected. Tension hung in the air between them.

Stacy decided to turn towards the source of the voice, expecting to find a stranger she had inadvertently offended. To her surprise, it was the very same man she had shared a hotel room with, the one who had brought her to this unfamiliar place. Her face contorted into a frown as a mix of confusion and unease settled in.
