Daniel and Carter met for the first time at work, Daniel was his secretary and Carter was the CEO of a multi Generational company, both were workaholics and thus they spent a lot of time together and became best friends.

Both had everything planned out for the future but not everything goes as you plan.

One day Daniel wakes up to a baby's cries and he find a baby on his doorstep who turns out to be his niece, with the request of his sister he decides to raise her, and Carter being the good friend he is decides to help raise her.

Neither of them knew what would happen when they take on the challenge of raising Daniels niece.

The unexpected results of raising a child

Their little trip didn't last long as it was time to get back to work, Daniel was quite excited to get back to Abbot, he knew he was going to have quite a bit of work to sort out since Abigail mostly only took care of Carter's schedule while he was away.

"Happy to have you back Mr. Haven" Carter joked as Daniel sat at his desk seeing just how much work he had that needed to be done.

"Happy to be back Mr. Abbott I will get to work immediately" Daniel joked and Carter nodded with a big smile, he was really happy having Daniel back at work as nice as it was to have Abigail help out and as thankful as he was for her advice on how to deal with his feelings for Daniel as well as hearing stories of how Daniel was as a teenager was quite nice, he was just happy having Daniel back at the office knowing that he won't be in danger anymore.
