I woke up slowly, feeling a slight twinge in my head. When I opened my eyes, I found myself in an unfamiliar room. Daniel was sitting across from me on the floor, watching me intently. I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain reminded me that something wasn't right.
"Daniel, you must listen to me. Alex's boyfriend is the enemy. He lured the demons into the mansion, and Alex is in danger," I told him urgently, trying to convey the gravity of the situation. My voice was shaking, but I knew I had no time to waste.
Daniel frowned, evidently skeptical at my words. However, the anxiety in my eyes must have been echoing somewhere in his mind.
"How do you know this, what are you saying?" he asked, with a mixture of disbelief and concern.
With effort, I tried to explain, recalling the fragments of the battle and the events leading up to my loss of consciousness.
