Chapter 110

After hours of traveling to somewhere she had no idea about, Rosália was thrown into a cell.

It was a dirty, dark place, and it seemed like it was in some kind of basement, due to the lack of windows and infiltration falling from several points on the ceiling.

She observed that there was no gender separation in the place, and there were men and women imprisoned there in the other cells.

She flinched in fear at this and looked around, wondering if she was alone in that cell, as the back of the saddle was completely devoid of lighting.

She leaned against the bars, scared, until she heard footsteps. Someone whistling and pushing a cart was approaching down the hall.

— Take me out of here! I have a lot of money and I pay you! — she begs, but the man just smiles and slides a metal plate under the cell, containing a loaf of bread and some kind of dubious-looking paste.
