Chapter 26: Settling In

Greece was definitely a paradise. Just looking out the window on the drive to get to the boat astonished me with the incredible view. The weather was just perfect—warm and breezy, a huge contrast to the chilly air in New York at this time of the year.

As we got to the boat, I could already spot the private island from a distance, and even I had to admit I was impressed with its beauty and size.

The resort was visible from this far, all its lights lit under the moonlight. I could tell the suites had balconies and windows made entirely of glass which allowed the guests to have a full view of the beach outside.

I had been to luxury places with my father before, but this was another level. Logan had really outdone himself this time.

Archie helped me out of the boat once we docked, and we were both greeted by some of the staff. But before they could guide us inside, Logan showed up, yelling our names, his arms wide to welcome us.
