Chapter 65: Coincidences

I stretched my arms, feeling the rays of sunshine invading the windows and hitting my face, gently warming my skin. 

It had been a few cold days lately, so it felt good to relish the shy appearance of the sun in the early hours of the day for a bit. 

After last night, I was feeling particularly renewed and anxious to have a productive day. I was also very excited about Christmas, which was so close already. 

I had yet to start organizing our dinner and sending out the invitations beforehand so the guests could organize their schedules as well.

With everything happening lately, I wasn’t having much time to focus on that, but that would be the first thing on my to-do list today.

“Morning.” Archie’s sleepy and hoarse voice hit me, enveloping me like a warm embrace. I opened my eyes and turned to my side to find his beautiful face staring at me, his hair completely disheveled and his bright green eyes studying me.
