PRINCE KLOUD’S POV
“Enough!” King Astaroth boomed. “Your wish has been granted.”
“Thank you, Your Majesty.” Armand and Lowe bowed in unison.
Faolan looked angry and his knuckles cracked. Served him right for setting up Prince Ulysses.
“Did Oclan and Felicia Relic leave for the West Kingdom?” King Astaroth asked.
“Yes, Your Majesty,” Faolan responded with a nod.
“Such pity. I would have loved to spend time with them,” King Astaroth stated. His voice starting to get on my nerves.
I bit the bullet and decided that it was time to implement my plan.
“Your Majesty, the guards told us that Queen Marama wanted to see us and heard her outside of our room yesterday. We were not presentable enough to see her. Is she not here today? I would have wanted to hear what she had to say.” feigned innocence.
The intake of breath in the room was audible as it moved from King Astaroth to Prince Boris before landing on Faolan.
“What?” King Astaroth demanded, his eyes hard.
