Chapter 40: Royal Holiday Resort

“The Queen is not leaving anything to chance. She is right to ensure our safety,” Uncle Marrok said.

“I like it,” Armand stated. “We need to be on high alert.”

It was early morning when we left the castle and headed to the royal holiday resort. The security that followed us made me laugh, knowing well that Ma was just being extra. We rode in the same car with Armand and Randale. Ulysses stared in awe at the roads and buildings as we drove to the royal holiday resort that was in the far north of the West Kingdom. “The resort is by the sea?” he asked in eagerness.

“Yes, it is,” I responded with a chuckle.

But Armand and Randale remained silent, and I could tell that they were fighting. Randale must have felt my eyes on him, and he turned to me in question. “What is it, Crown Prince?”
