RANDALE’S POV
My body felt heavy as I tried to open my eyes. I was deep in the forest at the bottom of the mountains and wondered how I got there. I moved around and realized that I was not in human form. My wolf had taken over at some point. My surroundings looked familiar, bar the stench of bloody and burnt bodies lying on the ground.
I staggered back and the ground shook beneath me. My mouth opened into a large growl, but nothing came out of it. No sound. Was I in a dream?
“Kill,” the voice said.
“No!” I screamed and struggled to get out of my mind's control as I watched bodies drop one by one covered in blood.
“You were born to get rid of the East Kingdom. It's your destiny,” the voice continued.
“No!” I yelled and turned around.
Before I could move, I heard Armand’s voice. “Randale, snap out of it.”
My eyes snapped open, and I jolted from the dream. I was on top of Armand, hands on his neck. I sat back up and pulled my hands away in shock.
