King Astaroth had summoned me to discuss the plans he had made with Crown Prince Kloud. The danger that was lurking was growing closer and we knew it was only a matter of time before the attack came. We had so many UN loyal court members who were ready to ensure we went to war with the East Kingdom. 


Queen Acedalia was present during the plans, and she promised to stay in the shadows ensuring that the Crown Prince and Grand Prince remained protected. 


I slowly walked to the end of the corridor and opened the door of my chambers. The lights were out as I had gone to settle Princess Rae in her room. She and Vuk bickered and insulted each other. It was comical to watch them banter. Once Princess Rae settled in, Vuk left for his room.


I walked to the bedroom and found the lights out. 


 “Come in.” I heard Lowe’s voice from the door.
