Chapter 62: You’ll have to wait a bit

Lydia paused. A deep red tint coating her cheeks for the nth time in less than an hour. She was at a loss as to what was happening right now. One moment she was trying her best to clean Huey's 'tool' and the next it was standing as straight as an enraged dragon. Lydia's heart sped up and she felt saliva accumulating in the back of her throat so much that she had no choice but to gulp.

She looked back at the heated rod still standing straight. Lydia hadn't done anything hoping that it would deflate on its own but after the first ten minutes passed and it was still standing, Lydia decided that it was a hopeless endeavor. So she went ahead and continued to wash it her. Feeling the warmth and the hearth of the veiny rod her fingers delicately rubbing up and down the veiny shaft, scrubbing it with soap before her fingers made there way to the two swollen masses beneath the raging rod.

She took them in her hands and made sure she gently clean off the debris that had attached themselves to them. The raging rod twitched. Lydia continued to try her best to ignore what was happening, her hand making its way to the mushroom of the appendage. Giving it a few gently strokes before her fingers travelled down the shaft once more.

The raging rod twitched and trembled more violently. Lydia could feel the veins pulsing from beneath her hand. She saw Huey's face tense slightly.

A frown formed on her features before she sighed dejectedly. It was always one thing after another with this boy.

"What now?" she muttered under her breath.

As if waiting to be asked this very question the raging rod twitched before a stream of white liquid shot up from small opening in the center of the mushroom head. It shot up with such force that it reached all the way to the ceiling.

Lydia was stunned, her mouth slightly open as she looked the stain that had newly pasted itself on the bathroom ceiling before looking back at the unconscious boy who now had an expression on his face that screamed satisfaction. Seeing this Lydia truly didn't know whether she should laugh or cry.

The raging rod shrunk back and deflated under the water as if to say 'My duty is complete'

Lydia shook her head once more.

She proceeded to speed up her washing. She didn't want another scenario like what just happened. In fact when she was done she all but rushed and dropped him in the bed and hastily covered him with the beddings. She left a change of clothes that they had taken from the clothes store they had taken shelter in the night before and then she all but ran out the door like a scared rabbit.

Before making her way downstairs she found it to be more lively than usual. Instead of just finding men moving about she found men and women who weren't armed cleaning up the lobby and the elevator with buckets filled with water and mops. Looking around for a few moments she spotted Rod, the man who had come to greet them when they first arrived with Candice.

She approached him

"What's going on?" she couldn't help but ask

"T-The survivors who had witnessed the fight between Huey and Jace some of them had heard what the young leader said and had decided to show some support for him as he left a good impression on them" Rod explained nervously after all it was clear that just like Candice this beautiful young lady wasn't ordinary.

"Oh" was all she said. "By the way where are the others I came with?"

"They're…"

After giving Lydia the directions to the room where Rina and Jordan were she made her way there. It turns out that they were in an empty room on the second floor so she made her way there

Arriving at the place she gave a small knock at the door before opening the door and making her way inside. She found the who squad there. Jordan was lying on the bed seemingly sleeping, Rina was sitting at the foot of the bed in her hands was a familiar ancient-looking book. It was the same book that she had seen Jordan reading a few hours ago.

And Candice wasn't anywhere to be seen but I could hear the water running in the bathroom. Lydia shook her head slightly, how could Candice possibly be bathing in the same room where a boy was sleeping? What if he woke up while she was getting dressed?

Lydia certainly wouldn't risk it…well maybe if it was in Huey's room but that was a very big 'maybe'. She didn't linger on those thoughts for a long though as she found herself a stool from the kitchen area and dragged it over to the right side of the bed where Jordan was currently facing.

She looked at Rina who seemed immersed in the book she was reading.

"By the way Rina I've been meaning to ask" she said. At this point Rina seemed to come back to reality. She stared in Lydia's direction before opening her mouth.

"Shoot" Rina said temporarily putting the book down but it was obvious by the posture that as soon as she answered what Lydia wanted to say she would return to reading.

"What exactly is that book? I've been seeing Jordan read it since earlier and now you?" Lydia asked to which Rina mysteriously smiled.

"Don't worry you'll know when its your turn to read it. I'm almost done anyway" Rina said. This seemed to pique Lydia's curiosity and it seemed and she now couldn't wait to read the book however what Rina said next was like pouring a bucket of cold water over her head. "But Candice was already next so you'll have to wait a bit"

"You!...You did that on purpose!"

"Well I have no idea what you are talking about" she laughed a little and from there they talked about insignificant things before Rina suddenly said

"You took an awfully long time in there. You didn't jump him while he was asleep did you?" Rina wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.

"N-NO! Of course not who do you take me for!" Lydia blurted out stuttering in the process.

Hearing this Rina simply laughed and continued to read.
