"Kayla what do you want,we could be a team together, we can accomplish great things" the voice echo through her head as Kayla was lost in thoughts and kept writing.
"Kayla!! Kayla!"Maya called out from behind.
She ignored her until Maya held her hand.
"What is it?"Kayla asked as she yawned.
"You seemed lost in thoughts"Maya answered as she waved at her.
"I might have fell asleep."She said as she stretched her hands.
"You weren't sleeping, you kept writing all over your notebook. We need go to the infirmary room. "Maya suggested.
Kayla stared at the page and saw an ominous note "ELIMATE THE PREYS" she felt a cold spam down her nerves and immediately collected her glass case and stood up
"I need to go the bathroom"Kayla asked for permission.
"Sure, you have 15 minutes to be back." Miss Chan said and gave a hall pass.
Kayla walked in the principal office
"Miss dean, what brings you here? did anything happen?"she asked.
"No,I really need to use the bathroom"as she pointed
"Go ahead" she sign the papers.
Kayla opened the case and used a Pentazocine injection on herself. She suddenly regained her self conscious and washed her face with water.
She take a deep breath and open the door.
"Are you ok or do you need to go the hospital.I can arrange that."The principal asked.
"No need to bother yourself. I will just head to class."Kayla said as she was about to leave
"Should I inform your father about it?"she suggested.
"Don't worry I will tell him myself once I get home"as she left the office and went back to class
"It took you long enough" Maya said as Kayla take her seat
"Wow you look pretty tense today I was wondering you could join me for lunch today"as Maya glance at her
"No I have other plans could at least stop disturbing me during class"
"Sorry" Maya focus on her book
DURING LUNCH BREAK
"So everyone please kindly submit your assignment"as the teacher gather her things.
Everyone submitted the assignment and left
Aidan spotted Kayla entering the library and followed her
"Hey Kayla is something bothering you" as he walk in quietly
"No why are you here, aren't you going to miss lunch"she hide her face with a book
"No I brought snacks if you want" he brought out a candy bar
"I appreciate it but what do you want"she asked
"Nothing really you look pale are you alright why don't you go....." as he tried to change the subject
"I am capable of handling myself so I don't need any medical care" she added
"Are you and Maya friends or not"he sat next to her
"What does my relationship with her has anything to do with you"she said with harsh tone
"See I am not the right person for this but you can trust me if you need anything just tell me because you seem off during class"as he tries to comfort her
"Like I said earlier I can handle myself thank you"Kayla stood up from her seat
"Kayla are you alright " he asked as she started shivering
"I AM FINE!!!"as she grab his collar tightly with fill rage and fury
"I think class has started bye"as he quickly left
I scared him the look on his face reminds of her. I wish I didn't leave her like that why does my past always hunt me why,do I really have to do it again" in her mind
Maya saw Aidan leaning on the door the wall
"Is everything alright"Maya approach him
"Why don't you ask your friend and try talking to her because she seem to lose her temper"as he walk away
"You know that isn't the way to your class right"as she pointed at the other direction
"It must have slipped my mind"as he turned around
Kayla opened the door
"You know you are late for class"Maya tapped her from behind.
Kayla ignores her and rush back to class
Meanwhile in the Wayne mansion
In the office
"My lord you called me"Tony walk in
"Do you know what happened on Monday night what my son was doing with those boys "Mr Wayne asked
"Apparently they probably had an argument or so it seems I had no idea what the argument was about and they tried to attack him in my defense I killed them" he responded in a low tone
"Then why did you leave the scene after the police arrived"Mr Wayne asked
"I panicked and left in a hurry because that was my first time committing murder"he tries to calm down
"You rode off with a motorcycle and also leaving my son behind, is that your excuse I trusted you in his care"Mr Wayne said as he raised his voice
"Sorry my lord it won't happen again" he bowed down
"Keep your apologies to yourself no more excuses and make sure it never repeat itself
Tony"Mr Wayne arrange his files
"I have other duties to attend to my lord shall I take my leave"as Tony asked for permission
"You may leave I have other meetings to attend "as Mr Wayne put his file in his briefcase
Tony left the office sending Kayla a voice message
"Kayla I don't feel comfortable lying to your father like this, you should settle things yourself cause I can't keep on covering and let it be the last time"
As Kayla listened to a voice message
"Kayla class is dismissed you have been asleep all day"The nurse said as she collected her bag
"What did you say?"Kayla asked as she realized she was the only one in class and left immediately .
"Kayla Incase you forget Miss Chan"Maya tapped her from behind.
"What part of leave me only don't you get"as Kayla grab on her hand tightly and pull to a locker
Everyone gather around
Are they fighting?I can't believe Kayla could hangout with someone like her,Maya just keep following her like as if they are friends
"Ow ow Miss Chan said we are having an oncoming test next week"as Kayla release her grip
"Thanks for the information"Kayla said in a low tone
