Easy Quest

I had reveled in the infamy of 'Rogue Retribution' as news reports continued to circulate about their audacious operation. The taste of notoriety was strangely satisfying, but I knew I had to focus on the next steps in his mission.

I switched off the TV, leaving behind the latest updates about their actions. MY mind was preoccupied with thoughts of the System and its growing capabilities. The Tarko Extract ability had now reached level 3, granting him the power to summon up to 30 individuals, expanding my force. My stash had grown, allowing him to store even more resources.

The cooldown on the System had finally lifted, and I could once again explore the quest opportunities that it had to offer. As I scrolled through the available quests, I couldn't help but notice that the super hard missions still lay beyond his reach for now. I wasn't discouraged; I knew I had to tackle missions suitable for his current abilities.

After methodically scanning through the available quests, I settled on a mission based on the game 'Night Dogs.'  the rewards were promising. Successfully completing this quest would grant him the power to hack into anything with internet or remote access, akin to the game's protagonist. After losing his niece in an assassination attempt, Paul, a street-smart vigilante, uses hacking apps on his phone to take over a new operating system in Chicago to hunt the criminals that killed his niece. Paul is a highly advanced hacker and also a criminal.

The penalty was being unable to walk for a week which didn't seem to bad compared the penalty of Tarko's quest being blind for 2 months.

As I embarked on the game's virtual challenges, it was a straightforward mission. Beat the game, ensure the good ending, don't harm civilians, and don't steal from them. The task was easy for a seasoned gamer like me. Armed with his skill and the system's capabilities, I made it through the game in record time, even earning the early finish bonus.

A day and night of relentless gaming later, he had successfully completed the quest. With tired eyes and a triumphant feeling, I decided to redeem the reward in the morning.

As the morning sun cast its warm glow across the room, I went about my routine, my waifu squad eagerly assisting him. While brushing my teeth, washing my  face, and taming my unruly hair, I couldn't help but feel a certain contentment. Life with his devoted and attractive waifus was unlike anything he had ever imagined, he felt so much excitement.

Once the morning rituals were completed, I joined my waifu squad at the table. Breakfast was served with grace and flair, a culinary delight prepared by his skilled companions. Alex took a sip of his coffee, enjoying the exquisite taste while the aroma filled the room.

Mika leaned closer, her tone soft and teasing, "Good morning, Alex. Did you sleep well?"

I grinned, enjoying the morning banter, "Of course, Mika, thanks to you."

Sakura, ever the vigilant guardian, interjected with a hint of concern in her voice, "Don't forget, Alex-sama, we have to stay focused on our mission."

Alex nodded, acknowledging her dedication, "You're right, Sakura. We have work to do."

Zero couldn't resist chiming in, her voice dripping with playful flirtation, "Work can wait, Darling. Let's enjoy our time together." as she attempted to feed me.

"Haha Zero very funny." I said avoiding her attempts to feed me.

But back to business, Quest completed, reward ability claimed, and assimilated. The joy of gaining such an exciting ability coursed through him.

When I checked for the bonus ability, I discovered a gem - the power to distribute a hacker app to other devices. With this app, I could enable the hacker ability in devices connected to the System. I already knew how I'd put it to good use, stacking it with my mid and low-tier abilities later for maximum impact.

But the cooldown period for quests wasn't over. It was shorter, though, just four days. I summoned 20 more individuals, extending his forces to have a core group of ten resembling a command and navy SEALs team that would command the army but also go on special missions.

This time he had a mix of male and female anime characters that randomly he decided from anime.

I was digging into the FBI and local police databases, unearthing more injustices, criminal elements, and gang members who deserved justice, even if it meant a ruthless end. My vision of a just and safer world grew clearer.

As I contemplated the future, a deep sense of purpose and determination settled within me. With my growing squad and expanding array of powers, I was ready to forge a new path in the world and take on the challenges that lay ahead.
