42. Learning more about you

It took hours for Amara and Vida to arrive back in the capital of Avendelle. They returned the horses they rented and decided to just walk to their house. The streets are bustling, especially in the outer part of the capital. Vendors behind their stalls lined both sides, shouting and chattering aloud while accommodating their impatient customers.

Children born commoners were running around without a care in the world. They were laughing melodiously, dancing and twirling in the streets with their playmates. They smiled and giggled at the smallest things they found amusing. How simple their happiness was?

How Amara wished she could just turn into a child, yet she herself has no memory of being one. Did she laugh running around the streets as well? Did her childhood bear simple memories that brought a smile to her face?
