O Krsna, You are a bird in Her heart;
That gives Her life
That gives Her love
That is Her only treasure
That She never want to let go
Whom She desires to give all pleasure
Her every breath is for only Your pleasure;
Then O Killer of demons,
Why do You leave Her alone?
In dismay to suffer!
She doesn't know where to find that Bird
How to bring You back
How will She please You?
How will She take every breath?
Did You not think of this?
She is wandering here and there
Helplessly trying to find You,
At one moment She closes Her eyes
And there You are
Still smiling from Her heart!
But the sad reality engulfs Her again
She suddenly remembers that You're gone
And She acts as if
A bee is being bereft of its nectar.
The nectar is in Her heart!
But even the thought of separation brings about ultimate pain
And She goes insane!
O Gopinath!
Just go back to Her!
Do You not see Her suffer?
Her Feet longs go run after You
Her hands long to feed You butter!
Her eyes long to see Your smiling face!
Her breath longs to leave Her body in separation!
Why don't You go back to Her?
