The following day, the identity of the woman Roy was with the previous night was revealed. 

The revelation happened sometime at noon, but the photos from the party were posted the previous night, including a short clip from the small interaction with Roy.

It took the reporters that much time with the reveal because they did not get Anna's full name from Roy, and given that there were so many people with that name, a lot of filtering work had to be done.

Some of them started by thinking about what kind of women someone like Roy would date. And each time they guessed the career, they would go ahead and search for the name 'Anna' under it to see if there would be anyone who matched the picture of the woman with Roy.

The other reporters used the pictures they got from that night to run a search to see if there were any similar photos of the woman on the internet.
