Down Time

Red Demon and Sun Demon had a long night of passion but kept it to themselves the next morning. Red Demon sat upon the roof of the medical wing meditating and then practicing with Havoc Flame. Ghost Demon wandered into the city to get supplies for their journey. He didn't say much when he awoke and merely told them he would be back after getting applied. Sun Demon has expressed looking for a shopkeeper Lola she befriended and merely wanted to make sure she hadn't died. And if she did she could give her a proper burial and raid her shop. Smiling had frowned at the idea and then had another "Red would be okay if I had the scrolls of Mythical Forging copied for our new companions?" Red nodded when he had brought this up. "I think it would be beneficial if we need to make our own soul weapons and can't afford poor quality ones out there" Sun looked confused. "Mythical Forging? Like using beast parts to craft into weapons? We had a machine do that in the Tech Realm?" Smiling chuckled at this. "Well best to get your hands dirty I'll help you master it. Let's go, we need to also get supplies and raid the palace before we head out" Sun groaned, winked at Red and followed behind the big man. Red felt a warm fuzzy feeling when she had. 'Well my infatuation is growing it seems…she is awfully cute' he thought walking to the roof of the medical building. He brought out the Havoc Flame and then meditated consuming the rest of the War King's chi he stored in it. His body sapped it greedily and he felt a sense of satiation from the process. He gripped the blade and breathed in and then out as he swung the sword with each breath.

He sliced through the air causing the blade to whistle. All Seeing appeared sitting on the edge of the building. "Wondered why you had been quiet?" Red said without looking away. "Yes well you seemed to need some privacy and I was merely keeping your hunger at bay so you could focus. Just so you know walls are finally done after that last absorption. So your hunger should be controllable now with your Mind Element" she looked at the city staring at the wreckage. Bodies strung about covered in flies and birds. "Thank you for doing that. I'm glad we discussed this issue before coming here. I know the spell won't last forever as he gets stronger. I just need to keep my mind elevated over my Soul Core and Bedlam Meridian" he walked over and sat with All Seeing. "This city is a wreck? You did a number on this place" Red sighed and shook his head. "This wasn't all me come on" All Seeing started to laugh.

Ghost Demon wandered the streets perhaps he wanted to see the city one last time before leaving. But this place wasn't really home. Never was in his eyes. He scrapped and struggled upon these streets to survive. He killed people in this city and he added to the ghosts just as much as the king. But far from the scale of his depravity.

He passed a gun shop and stopped. He then kicked the door open and walked amongst the cases. He smashed one pulling out a big shotgun like gun that was black and big. He found a magical ammo pouch that went to the gun. Giving the user unlimited ammo when using chi upon the magic circle engraved on the leather. He cocked it back and clicked and pulled the trigger. He laid it upon his shoulder and perused the other cases stopping two big grey and black pistols. Another self loading gun with the use of chi. The handles looked like sandalwood and had circles burned on it. One was for Shadow, and the other Flame. Both engraved side by side upon each gun. Then he spun the chamber around and then pointed it at a poster of himself upon the wall. He put chi into the handles and fired a shadow bullet through the wall leaving a clean hole.

He spun the pistols in his hand and holstered both in their own belt sliding one arm over it resting upon his shoulder. He found an ammo closet and found ammo for his own pistols. They disappeared into his ring and he looked over to see the workbench of the gunsmith that ran this place.

Ghost froze when he locked eyes with a corpse. He could see he was lying in the corner dead and impaled with a knife in his chest. Ghost turned and saw a bookshelf scanning the names. He stopped when he found something interesting. He had a spell book for Arcane Gunsmiths. Inside he found information on enchanting firearms and ammo spells. He looked through it and found it was in-depth and extremely detailed, giving anyone a step by step process. Upon the table were papers stacked upon one another. He brushed his hand over them, studying them closely. They had drawings of custom circles made by the gunsmith. Descriptions describing their function and abilities. He picked them up, tucking them into the book before it went into his ring.

He kept walking around and then found a knife with a silver blade. Upon it were runes etched up its blade. At his time in the Ghost Hand he picked up reading runes of enchantment. They were fairly simple when used. Intention and chi with a word to activate it. This knife had runes spelling out "Forever Sharp, Forever Fine, Forever Unbreakable" he whispered. He spun the blade around his hand, twirling it over his hand. It was lightweight and balanced. He sliced at a helmet on a table. With a quick swipe it sliced through the helmet shaping a part off in a perfect circle. The edge of the blade was blue and glowing. It then dimmed and went back to normal. "Shit.." he said with surprise. He found the scabbard on the table and sheathed it. He then clipped it to his belt. He left the gun smith and headed for a food supply store. Hoping to find something to eat and something to drink before going to his hideout to take all his possessions.

Sun and Smiling walked in silence before she broke it. "Should be up ahead" she said pointing up the street. "How are you getting along?" Smiling. Sun shrugged, "As well as I can. It has been exciting" she professed. Smiling nodded at the thought. "Sure. So you and Red huh? Finally I became a man and I see" Sun froze in place. "What?" She was surprised and taken aback. "Oh come on don't play this game. It's not like it's a bad thing. It's nice to see him finally act less serious. And don't worry I will bring it up to him" he kept walking and chuckled. Sun shook her head from the whiplash. "How did you know?" She asked frantically. "Simple. Bad dream. I woke up. Heard you giggle and seemed to be coming from Red's room" she blushed at this confession. "You had a bad dream and woke up? You? You're huge, what the hell are you afraid of?" Smiling chuckled again. "Oh there is plenty to be afraid of even for a big guy like me. Honestly it wasn't the dream that frightened me" Smiling's face became a frown. As he thought of Kira, or Nexus whatever they were to him she was Kira. And she was trapped in a body with that thing. He clenched his fist and Sun noticed him visibly getting angry. "You alright? Do I say something wrong?" She asked with concern. "No. You did nothing. Just lost in thought. Sorry we are getting closer to the shop you said?" He changed the subject, quickening his pace. 'He clearly has something on his mind?" Sun thought.

She could see the sign up ahead and lead the way. They came to the door and found it smashed in. Sun was weary as she walked in, looking around seeing shelves toppled over. Scrolls laying upon the ground ripped up. Smiling, I walked around the shop and found a closed door. He pushed on and found it lit up with a magic circle and an energy shield coated it. Sun came up behind him staring at the door. "She was pretty crafty when I met her?" She was impressed and then knocked on the door gently. Lola? Are you there?" she heard nothing for a moment. But then heard scuffling behind it as it swung open. Revealing the shop owner who was disheveled and looked to be happy to see a friendly face. "You came back!" she said with relief and then hugged Sun Demon. She hugged her back and patted her back. "What a shit show" she said walking back into the room gesturing for them to follow. She sat down and appeared to be drinking tea like the last time.

"Lola, the city is empty. You can head outside and even leave the city if you wish it's safe now," the shop owner shrugged. "Then I'll enjoy this peace and quiet for a while then. Gods know I need it. And who is this tall and handsome man you brought with you?" she eyed Smiling up and down. Biting her lip and giving him a wink. He smiled back and extended a hand. "Smiling is my name," Lola giggled. "Yes you do have that effect" she shook his hand. Compared to him her hand was small, fitting in the palm of his hand. "What can I do for you?" she asked with a smile. "I came to make sure you were okay," Sun professed. Smiling on the other had perked up and produced a book and laid it on the table. "I came to see if you could make three copies of this book with a spell if you know a Duplication Spell?" Lola smiled before sipping her tea. "Duplication spells are child's play" she drained her tea and took the book walking to a magic circle.
