Allies

All four women's eyes were fixated on the hooded boy who was nonchalantly eating a kabob he then opened his thermos and sipped the steaming liquid inside. Akamine recoiled a bit before stating "That green tea was still too hot, it still slaps though." Noticing their gaze tilted his head quizzically. "You said something about helping us, what did you mean?"

"I have plenty of medicines even the ones you mentioned earlier," Nagishina stated as he reached into the still-open medkit he used to treat Tora and took out a large bottle with red and yellow capsules inside he then gave it a shake rattling the contents. Akamine tossed the bottle to Chisana which she fumbled a bit before catching. "I'm choosing to help you. The least you girls can do is trust me a little." the hooded boy stated then laughed. There was a clicking sound in Nagishima's direction which caused the women to look at him. He removed his yukata to cool off from being so close to the fire while cooking.

Chisana noticed the object tucked in his waist. "You had a gun?!" The girl asked in shock, she recalled the clicking sound and figured that was the source. "Yeah, I decided to switch the safety on, seeing as we won't be fighting." Nagishima answered plainly. Pansa leaned to the side "Hey, Shion. If we decided to attack like you said, what would have happened?" The Bobcat asked. "Well, you see..." Shion began sweating bullets. She imagined a scenario when they tried to attack the boy. Akamine pulled his arm from the yukata and his pistol along with it then gunshots rang out in the forest.

"It's a good thing you listened to what I said." Tora stated before laughing. She continued by stating "He didn't have to treat my leg but he did." Shion thought about it then replied "How do you know he won't attack us later?" before folding her arms to make her point. "That is where you messed up. I'm injured and wouldn't put up much of a fight, he could have put his sword to my neck and used me as an hostage." she then placed her leg on Nagishima's lap before continuing "Or use the projectile weapon to shoot all four of us. He could do either of those right now, he doesn't need to wait. I trust him, you should as well."

Akamine was surprised by the girl's words. "Thank you, Miss Tora. Here a token of my appreciation." Nagishima stated as he handed her a bag of chips which she enjoyed. Tora did grabbing motion with her hand then pointed at her leg asking for another treatment in a nonverbal manner.

A while later, Akamine packed up his supplies, deciding to accompany the ladies to travel back to the village. The five travelers make their way towards Granite Mountain.
