Ari Constantines POV
Three years ago
"Ari! Ari, don't forget about me!" A female childs voice cried as a small pale hand reached out to me; I reached out and almost reached the dainty fingertips but then darkness surrounded me.
I have to...
I jolt upright with my hand outstretched and I blink as everything around me was blurry for just a moment.
Who was she? Wait! Where am I?
I blink again and groan sleepily. I stretch a bit and take a look at my surroundings. First, I look at what I'm on and see that I'm on a simple bed that feels lumpy and scratchy. The pillow under my head feels like it's stuffed with feathers. I next examine what I'm wearing and see I'm wearing a simple brown tunic with large slits in the back to accommodate my wings and paired with it are thin beige fabric pants.
I rub my eyes with the palm of my hand and the room door bursts open.
There in the doorway stands a tall man and beside him is a woman maybe two feet shorter than him. Clutched in her arms is a simple black briefcase.
"Hey, where am...."
The woman and man advance on me with blinding speed and in a few quick motions the case was opened and I feel a sharp pinch in the back of my neck.
A small squeak escapes my lips and darkness takes over.
"Don't worry Ari, just a few more months and we won't need to do this anymore. Hang in there."
A burly voice says with a hint of sadness.
.

.
A few months later...
I can't help but feel like I was meant to be doing more. My whole life feels so meaningless.
I can't even remember the first nine years of my life.
The man and woman who I awoke to told me that they are my parents and how I was in some kind of accident and it unfortunately caused me to forget everything.
The woman has long turquoise blue hair, soft brown eyes with flecks of purple here and there, a small button nose, sharp cupid bow shaped lips, her entire body frame is both docile and alluring, she has really big squishy breathtaking breasts. Oh and I almost forgot to mention she has some really wicked black wings and small horns that barely peek out of her hair.
The man is completely opposite to her. He's big in stature, with deep piercing brown eyes, brown black hair, and he has a highly intimidating face from a jagged scar that runs across his left eye. His nose is a sharp bridge and he has a sharp defined jawline that looks like it could cut through the toughest of stone. He's extremely fit with a well toned and built body.
Oh, and I forgot to mention one tiny eintsy weinsty detail...
"I'm a low class half demon who repairs shoes and occasionally does house work." I say while I'm on my knees for the billionth time with boredom dripping from every word.
"That's right!" My father exclaims swatting me over the head with this mornings paper; aggravation coating his response.
"I don't know how many times I have to tell you to stay away from the palace! We are simple low class creatures who aren't even worthy of being near the royals!" My father booms out; his magic losing control for just a moment as stuff starts breaking.
I lower my head in submission but the gesture feels wrong.
However, I do feel some guilt about my father having to bail me out of trouble again with the palace guards.
"I understand what you're saying but I can't explain why I always feel the need to be at the castle doing something more. Nothing about me losing my memories from some accident that you failed to explain to me makes any sense!" I say driving my fingers into my scalp furiously.
"Why can't I remember the first nine years of my life?! What are you guys hiding from me?!" I yell out trembling in anger and confusion.
"Child! Don't ask questions you won't be able to handle the truth about." He snaps at me.
Frustrated, I growl out, talons extending from my fingertips as I lunge at him; next thing I'm aware of, I'm being pinned to the ground with my wings held to my back and my mother with one of those stupid fucking syringes poised at my neck.
"You can't hide the truth from me forever! I'll eventually find out what you guys are fucking hiding from me!" I roar out trying to wiggle out of their grasps.
The stinging sensation and burn of whatever they inject into me and I'm passed out within mere minutes.
"Ari! Ari, don't forget about me!" The girls despair rings in my head as I hold onto that same sentence and try to remember.
Why can't I remember you?

Present time
When I woke up on my twelfth birthday, I looked twenty.
It's been a couple weeks since that day.
As usual, I snuck out of my job duties and hopped on over to the palace. Naturally, I had to go through the town but the back way in is always fun.
I love that I can turn my hair dark brown at will and my eyes lavender, all I have to do is conceal my lower face and most of my body. No biggie.
I heard that people from a different kingdom have come and I'm hoping I can make my way so I can see the carriages and stuff.
But honestly, why should I act like the rest of them. I know a way directly into the castle walls so I sneak around the bushes and crawl through a small opening and I watch as so much drama unfolds.
I saw the princess fighting two werewolves before she was hauled into a carriage unconscious.
She put up a mean fight with them werewolves and her skills with the sword are emasculate. However, I noticed how they drugged her and I couldn't help but feel for her considering my parents have been doing the same to me.
So as the carriages pulled off, I took to the sky and followed them without making it look obvious.
She's being forced into a marriage and wants freedom.
She seems to want the same things as me.
I follow the carriages all the way out of the castle area and town for a little over an hour and I start to wonder what I'm even doing.
Why did I follow them? It's not like I have anything to do with any of them. Perhaps I just let my curiosity get the better of me again.
I stop flying after them and turn around to go back home when all of a sudden I hear a loud boom from below that causes me to turn around.
I spot a blur of motion near the tree lines and I watch as the first carriage flips with a small explosion and I watch as bodies start flying everywhere.
The other carriages stop and the giant creatures pulling them roar out in fear as the same thing happens to the rest.
I fly down as quick as possible and I get to the carriage that I seen the princess in and ignore all the shouting and yelling.
I get to the upside down carriage and inside I see the most beautiful young woman with long curly black hair and pale white skin dangling upside down. The seat belt across her lap the only thing keeping her from falling to the roof.
I tear the door open and crawl inside before I stand and examine the situation.
There are two others in here with her but I leave them be as one lays awkwardly on the roof with his neck at at an odd angle and the other seems to have bent in half.
I take out the knife I carry with me for repairs and cut at the belt holding her to the seat. She falls down and I catch her with ease; her black hair cascades down her face like a curtain and I reposition her over my shoulder and jump out.
I see another blur heading for me and I take off running before I launch myself and the princess into the sky.
The blur jumps and almost catches my ankle but falls short a couple inches.
I fly higher but decide to look down and staring up intently at us is a man.
He has jet black hair and dressed gothic as fuck. But not just that, he exudes royalty.
His eyes glow orange and I gasp.
Those eyes... I've seen them before.
"Ari Constantine. Interesting to see you still don't value your life." He says condescendingly with a smirk.
I furrow my brows at his statement.
He knows my name?
He locks eyes with the girl in my arms and jumps again; however, this time without hesitation, I fly off not looking back.
I have to keep the princess from that man.
His aura is dangerous, he's dangerous.
I have to...
I have to protect her!
"Ari! Ari, don't forget about me!"
I shake my head to get that girls voice away and I fly as fast as I can; without thinking, I opened a portal and flew straight through.
.
.
.
The fire crackles and glows around us.
I had healed the wounds on the princess's forehead and laid her down where she's been asleep for the last four hours.
If I'm being honest, I have no idea where I brought us or how to even get us back to Slymethius.
But I do know that this night sky is a dark shade of blue with many twinkling lights glittered across the sky. Comparing our night sky to this one, it's a deep shade of purple with many red flecks similar to the white twinkling ones.
It's strange to look at but so breathtaking....I also sense no magic here.
.
.
.
I wake up with a gasp and I lay as still as possible.
Focusing my eyes, I see the blade of a sword at my throat and the princess standing above me with a fierce gaze.
Captivated by her, I also forgot I had lowkey kidnapped her from her original kidnapping.
"One wrong move and you lose your head." She says coldly; a shiver runs up my spine and I dizzyingly want her to stay above me with that magnificent sword.
I've never felt so alive by violence before.
"Who are you? Slowly uncover your face!" She commands and on guard.
Another shiver snaked up my spine and a shit eating grin crosses my face as I slowly reach for the mask covering my face from the nose and down all as I keep eye contact with her.
I slowly pull my mask down and her hand just barely trembles.
I lunge at her and tear the sword from her grasp throwing it as far as possible and have her pinned beneath me within moments as I straddle her waist.
Hours before, she was fighting with all her strength and heart but she's not fighting me in this moment at all.
Where's her fire at? Where's her spirit?
Her breathing comes out shallow as she stares intently at me.
"Ah...Ari?" Her voice trembles as she stares up at me, her voice coming out small and unsure.
I draw my brows in as I see tears well in her eyes.
She knows me too?
I loosen my hold on her wrists and she starts to struggle beneath me so I tighten my grip again, this time I pull her wrists together and hold them with one of my hands and I use the other one to pull the hood down from my head.
My long brown hair flows out from the hood and she stares at me in awe.
"Yes." I speak to her softly with a wicked grin.
"I don't know what I'm doing and I'm so confused all the time. Have you been watching me all this time? Do you remember me?" She cries out.
I loosen my hold on her wrists and I get off her backing away.
She gets up and walks to me as she continues to advance with all her babbling and I throw my wings out in front of me to block her, she stops and her lips pucker out.
The princess knows me but how?
A breath shudders from my lips and then she throws herself at me; her arms snake around my waist and her head cradles in my chest as she cries.
My arms raise so as not to touch her and I speak.
"I'm sorry but-"
"I missed you. I've missed you so much." She says looking up at me with teary eyes.
I say nothing because I don't really know what to tell her.
"Ari. Ari, please remember me!"
"Ari! Ari, don't forget about me!"
Both her and the memory say at the same time.
For just a moment I can almost imagine...
She leans in and kisses me on my lips and I gasp out in shock. Her hands gently cusp my face.
Her hands are so soft.
My eyes flutter shut as I wrap an arm around her waist to pull her closer and I use my other hand to desperately grip into her hair and I deeply kiss my princess back.
For just a moment memories flash into my head.
Green flames...
Small white wings and black hair...
A small moan escapes my mouth before i feel myself backed into the closest thing and I'm already feeling breathless at her savagely consuming my lips.
My wings wrap around her like a cocoon as i stumble and fall down.
It doesn't stop her as she quickly straddles my waist and starts grinding herself in me.
I groan out from both pleasure and pain and my grip tightens more.
She lets out a breathless moan and I roll us over having pinned her again as I start biting, nibbling, and sucking at her delicate neck. Her cheeks flush and her breathing comes out ragged and she becomes an absolute moaning mess beneath me; I press myself into her with my own grinding matching the pace of her hips that are rolling into mine.
"Ah! Ari! Fuck I need you!" She cries as I feel talons claw down my spine, more than likely drawing blood.
"Oh fuck! I'm gonna..."
.
.
.
Me and the princess sit at the newly rekindled fire in an awkward silence.
She hasn't been able to look me in the eyes after I exploded on top of her and left her high and dry.
"I think we should talk." We both say at the same time.
Her face goes really red and she looks away hurriedly.
"Um yea. You first." I say while rubbing the back of my neck.
However, the talk never happened because I felt pain in my neck and as I blacked out I heard the princess scream.
