Episode 5: Bombs away!

"But, Madam, what about you?"

"It's okay child, don't worry."

Arriving at the bay, she sees one of the tubes opening. It is laden with dark red light, big enough for a sphere, but long enough for a missile. Putting the sphere inside the dud, she pushed the dud into the tube. Locking the door by pulling the lever upwards. As the tube is secure, the lid spins, expelling steam as it depressurizes.

Suddenly, the intercom blared as she walked out of the weapons bay.

"Multiple signatures detected."

Grimacing, she pressed a button locking the bay door. She took off her mask while running back.

"Damn it! Launch the duds!  Then ready the ship for launch."

"Bombs away"

And it did go away, the dud had successfully gone into the asteroid belt and landed on a random rock. Meanwhile, the ship began to power up, turned off the stealth configuration, and took off.

"Spatial activity detected!"

"Power up to max and lead them away from here!"

Looking ahead, she began pulling up multiple holograms, all of them turned green, signifying that the ship was stable, for now.

Somewhere outside of the galaxy, inside of a large escort ship; the siren suddenly startled its passengers.

"Alert! Massive distortion signature detected!"

"Tokir, check the radar signature, at what sector it is in?"

Out of all the soldiers sitting around screens upon screens of holos, one tall burly man stood out from the rest. He wore a black coat adorned with several badges of honor and decorated with one plate signifying his rank. Another soldier to his right stood up, saluted, and said:

"Sir, signature came from Sector 23578, in Galaxy 137. The signature seemed to pop out of nowhere."

The burly officer then turned to his subordinate nodding,

"Possibly got out of stealth mode?" he thought

"Send a spatial blip to the main battleship and report that we have found the runaway doctor."

Tokir saluted and ran back to his spot. Like the other non-commissioned soldiers, he sports a green coat with some badges of honor signifying his rank. It is paired with red slacks and black shoes. Tokir as the Corporal-In-Charge began shouting to his men.

"Alright folks, you heard the man, follow the signature, and tail it. Meanwhile, I will go and fetch a telegram to send to the main battleship!"
