Episode 8: Thank you, Goodbye

Seeing the enemy firing from all angles, she bled her speed and sharply turned away, resulting in two enemy crafts colliding.

"I have to take control of the ship." thought Niviana.

"Alright Callisto, get ready for the migration protocol!"

As the action took place, Tokir approached him and said,

"Sir, despite the damage sustained, the craft is still stable."

With a frown, he checked the information about the ship. Only to find that the ship was invented by his father. When he saw that, his rage grew further.

"Send more craft after her! But this time, get better ships! Now!"

Looking at the radar record, he thought,

"Brother, retribution is at hand."

He then looked towards the vast darkness, where a lone ship laden with pink was seen firing all kinds of missiles and mounted laser turrets dishing out plasma beams.

Inside the pink ship, is Dr. Niviana, using everything she has to take out the fighters gunning for her. A ravenous amount of tapping and clicking is heard throughout the cockpit.

"Fission reactor is at critical Doctor."

"Heh, it's been quite a ride with you here Callisto" she grimaced.

"Indeed doctor, it has been quite fun" Callisto quipped.

"Callisto, do you remember what we discussed a week ago?" she asked.

"Yes doctor, I have. But what happens to you?"

"Do not worry about me my dear, I will be fine. Your survival will ensure trillions of lifeforms around the cosmos."

Niviana smiled and started to tap and pull up a separate holo containing one document.

"You see this? This contains everything that you and your partner need to survive, to not only fight but to preserve life."

"I believe more threats are lurking in the cosmos, waiting to be unleashed. Now, disengage from this system. You will be safe inside the cube, stop the transmission once you are fully integrated. You'll wake up when you make contact with the first lifeform DNA you come across".

As the light from the orb grew dimmer and dimmer, Callisto uttered one more sentence before he turned off,

"Thank you, Doctor Niviana,"
