"Salamander" can only be described as "miserable" in its current state.

Having lost its splendid fluid metal armor, with nearly ten percent of its parts dismantled, the entire walking mechanism on one side destroyed, and its balance gyroscope severely damaged, the burnt and tattered body attempts to regain balance but fails every time. The sight of it continuously trying and failing is unbearable.

What angers Roland is not this.

In war, destruction is the destiny of weapons. It is common for warriors who treat their weapons as companions or parts of their body to project their emotions onto these cold steels, mourn over the remains left on the battlefield, or vent their emotions, but Roland is not emotional for this reason at this moment.
