Chapter 466: Inner Conflict

Ye Chen looked up, and said, "I know you're suffering, I want to share your burden. If I could, I would wish to be the one sitting in the wheelchair."

"Stop it, I accept this outcome. Just leave, you don't have to feel guilty, you don't owe me anything," Ling'er said.

Ye Chen said somewhat angrily," haven't you seen my sincerity yet? Do you think I'm following you out of a whim?"

"You are a good person, but put yourself in my shoes, I know this isn't something that will change in a day or two, I know you're determined to stick with me, but I don't want you to suffer because of me," Ling'er bluntly replied.

"Why would you think that way?" It seemed unnecessary to ask.

"No reason. I just don't want to owe anyone anything. I don't want people pitying me."

"You don't have to feel burdened. It's my choice and it involves no one else. I'm not pitying you, I genuinely want to be with you," Ye Chen said.
