Chapter 1089: Evolution of the Golem

After Elsa resolved the trouble with the Divine Worm, she immediately found the Darkness Priestesses. When these members of the Core Clan learned that the so-called Heavenly Kingdom was actually an imposture perpetrated by the Divine Worm, they were first shocked, then flew into a rage. It meant they had all been played. Even though the Divine Worm was dead by this time, the fact that they hadn't been able to discern the true nature of the Heavenly Kingdom made the Darkness Priestess feel a bit of self-reproach, after all, if one were to talk about the connection with the Giants, as a Golem, she was probably much more closely linked to them than Elsa.

"You can't blame yourselves, after all, neither the Divine Worm nor the Heavenly Kingdom were really within our control, and I was just a bit luckier," Elsa comforted them.

"So, how do you plan to leave?" the Darkness Priestess asked.
