Chapter 25: Constructs and Mercenaries

No one knew from the start that there would be such a horrifying monster hidden within the Black Raven Castle.

The term "horror" now seems to have been tailor-made for this monstrous creation guarding the entrance.

There's no way this massive construct could have been created by Veck.

After observing for a while, Violet came to this conclusion.

Not to mention, creating such a construct would require alchemy skills of an almost insurmountable level.

Ignoring the most basic assembly, which anyone could handle, the massive parts of it could never have been completed by Veck alone.

Just by looking at those parts from a distance, one could tell they were too big, too heavy.

They were like huge blocks of stone, inserted into gaps, forming the most solid armor of this construct.

Its moss-covered exterior shows traces of countless weathering, silently telling of the long time it has weathered.

Violet's guess was spot on, this monster indeed was not created by Veck.
