After resolving the matter with the villainous corpses in town, things had temporarily come to a halt which allowed her to catch her breath. She quickly left the town without a moment's hesitation.

During her stay, she could feel the townspeople's doubting glances toward her. Being stared at with such suspicion for long enough could even make her start questioning herself.

If her cover was blown at this time, everything would be utterly ruined. Hence, it was in her best interest to leave the town as soon as possible, maintaining some distance and preserving the air of mystery surrounding her.

While Violet wasn't a psychologist, she instinctively felt that by doing this, the distance would make up for her deficits.

Specifically, her deficits in persuading and convincing the townspeople through language.

Getting others to believe in her words was hard, but making them believe their own was much simpler, it's a basic human instinct.
