"So, let's go in and see together," the mercenary group leader wobbled his head, announcing with a slight smile playing at the corners of his lips.

And so the decision was made. The four of them took cover in the bushes, tasked with keeping an eye out for approaching monsters.

If the witch was not at home, these four would use a distinct calling sound to alert the two inside the house when she returns.

Using animal cries as a warning signal, they prepared for the potential battle to ensue.

Although they didn't take unnecessary risks, their duty as sentinels was far from safe.

For in this forest, no place is secure; there is always some inexplicable danger lurking.

Once all was set, the two men, unnoticed, started moving towards the small wooden house.

The moss-covered cabin located at the edge of the marsh didn't seem like it was inhabited.

The stream flowed past this cabin.
