The bard stepped up to the witch, his face a strange mix of emotions, as if he had seen through to something.

He seemed to have a hunch about the witch's identity.

He sat down next to the witch, put down the object he had been carrying, and eyed her in a way that made her feel uncomfortable.

So, she put down the object she was holding and watched him, her heart fluttering with uneasiness.

"Hello, miss, we seem to have met somewhere before," he finally said, after a moment's hesitation.

Had they met somewhere before? The witch doubted it and dismissed his words as mere flirtatious banter.

So, she confidently and swiftly rejected his attempt at conversation.

Although his charm seemed to falter, he still seemed eager to continue the conversation.

"You really don't think so?"

He spoke sincerely to the witch, as if this matter were of great importance to him.

So, the witch shook her head and let out a humph.
