Chapter 170: Debate

Sitting here, looking at Violet before her, the witch fully understood the situation at hand.

Simply asking wouldn't suffice, she needed to personally investigate the matter to find the right answers.

In this moment, no matter how detailed an account Violet provided, regardless of the origins of the material, it all seemed fruitless.

Everything was hidden well behind the scenes; the witch felt it was time to assert herself.

Hands on her hips and shaking her head in dissatisfaction, she addressed Violet.

"I am a professional alchemist. Do you comprehend what that means?" she asked earnestly.

If the other party didn't understand her words, she would decide, at that moment, to explain the matter more explicitly.

"Only I can detect the subtleties an alchemist would notice, Captain," she said.

Listening to the witch's words seemed to make sense, yet after a good deal of consideration, she decided to disagree.
