If such a thing really did happen, it would be too humiliating for him.
Halse slowly stepped out of the inn, his weapon was readily at hand. He could draw it at any moment, but he did not take it seriously.
The two faced each other, Halse was surprised as to why Violet, under such a violent downpour, had not a drop of mud on her.
