Inside this castle, within the walls of Black Crow Castle, the Bronze Shield Mercenary Corps unquestionably held all the authority.

Thus, even a random mercenary within their ranks was not someone to offend lightly.

Everyone knew that loyalty was the Corps highest value.

Given that their subordinates demonstrated such loyalty, it was impossible for the Corps as a collective to not defend their members' interests.

Hence, there was a fundamental difference between the mercenaries of Black Crow Castle and the guards of the surrounding towns.

They were part of the castle's lifeblood – without them, there would be no Black Crow Castle.
