Chapter 700: Decision

"Actually, you don't really need to test me in all these ways." He said to Violet, donning a smile.

Confronted with this explanation from him, Violet reciprocated with an equally composed smile.

"That's interesting. Please go on, I was actually curious about what you were thinking at the time."

At this point, he relinquished the conversational reins to Old Hawke, addressing the situation at hand.

No more subterfuge was necessary for Old Hawke.

He clearly knew that it was time for him to make his stance on the current situation clear.

Furthermore, he was well aware that there wasn't much conflict between his position and that of the other party.
