At this point, confronted with Violet's outcry, he had no choice but to halt his steps, accepting the reality before him.
It was evident that the situation at hand was not as simple as it appeared, not something that could be resolved easily.
So what other things, or rather, the problems that he himself needed to shoulder?
He did not know at this juncture what the other party might do, hence, under such circumstances, he made a direct judgment of the situation.
"May I ask, Sir, is there anything else that you need me to deal with?"
Violet chose to return to her seat, her hands propping up her chin, and began to look at him with a gloomy gaze, explaining her concerns.
"There are many issues that I need to address and resolve, but on this matter, I think you may be the first, and possibly the earliest, to know the exact truth of the situation."
"What do you think, with regards to yourself and your thoughts on him?"
Violet was straightforward about her worries.
