The more one is faced with complex matters, the greater the need for a space in which to make choices actually becomes.
For the Alchemist, there was no need for a detailed explanation; he was personally experiencing it all at that moment.
Making decisions always seemed incredibly difficult, everyone wanted the best of both worlds.
He too didn't see himself as a person who could have the foresight in his actions and judgments concerning choices.
He was clearer than anyone about how limited the talents he could showcase were.
Thus, instead of trying to make a choice that, for him, wouldn't truly change the situation he was in at present,
It might be better to try to come to a satisfying common understanding with others about what lay before their eyes.
And so dealing with it all would no longer give rise to as many excuses afterward at school.
Now, the Alchemist held the same viewpoint and opinion about everything that was unfolding before him.
