It was just that something happened, which then led to a change in the situation.
When one harbors such a thought in their heart and makes decisions accordingly, they may gain a further understanding of the issue.
The Alchemist, no matter how clearly he was aware of the events unfolding before him, knew how to control himself.
Yet the situation still possessed choices that he was incapable of making with clear judgment.
He had to grit his teeth and swiftly come to an understanding of the problem within a short span of time.
And then, for the concept he had envisaged in his mind, he had to take concrete action.
Perhaps that would present a glimmer of a chance for a definitive handling of the situation.
And are these actions truly worth staking everything on such behavior?
