"You didn't have to drop me off, you know."
"I wanted to," Vincent smiled from the driver's seat, glancing at me. He was dressed in his usual formal attire, a crisp beige suit with a white undershirt and a brown tie, his hair slicked back into his usual manbun. Seeing him like that, all I could think about was ripping those clothes off his delicious body like I had just a few nights ago, maybe do a little more than just make out on my bed. But a voice from the backseat had me quickly tucking those thoughts away in a far corner of my brain.
"I never got to see Julie's school before!" Anya said from the backseat, cradling her bunny to her chest excitedly.
"That's it right there," I said, pointing out the dreaded campus just as it came into view. Her eyes were wide as saucers as she took in the large lecture buildings, the winding pathways between canopies of yellowing trees and bushes, and the intricate fountain at the centre of the quad.
