Acting upon a Crush.

Emily sighed as she recalled Cyrus' unfair treatment to Archer earlier. She got up, and walked away from the dining room, and to the kitchen, and luckily, Archer was there this time. She pulled a seat by the kitchen table, and climbed on. She contemplated on ways to start up the conversation, so she cleared her throat, attracting his attention.

"You're always dressed up in that cloak, don't you get inconvenienced by it?" She asked Archer chuckled, and faced her.

"No, I don't. I'm a little cold" He replied, as he rested his back on the kitchen unit.

"A little cold all the time?" She asked, lifting a brow.

"Yes, all the time." He said, nodding convincingly.

"You didn't come here to ask about my cloak did you?" He asked, peering into her eyes. She lowered her gaze as she sighed.

"I'm just sorry about the way my brother spoke to you earlier"

She answered.

"Do you see me sad or complaining?" Archer asked.

"No"

"So don't be sorry. By the way, you weren't the one that yelled at me like the entire building was on your shoulders" He joked, and she giggled.

"So..." Emily mouthed.

"So... what?" Archer said, lifting a brow "Come..." She said, nudging him to sit beside her.

Archer obeyed quietly and sat on the chair.

"You work too much, you need to take a break to have fun Emily said, suspending both arms mid air.

"Have fun?" Archer repeated, looking amused.

"Yes... dude!" Emily replied.

"If I take a break, and have fun like you say, your house is going to be a mess, and I'm going to get fired by my boss, so in order for me not to get fired, and get Miss Emily bored, I need to do what I'm being paid for" Archer said, staring directly at her.

"Wow...!" Emily blurted.

"All for one innocent sentence. How about we just sit and talk?" She said, and Archer chuckled as he climbed off the chair.

"I'll be done in no time, so we can sit and talk" Archer said as he resumed working.
