Chapter 25

It's not like Hikari didn't want to tell his housemate about the progress in the case, but the man just wanted Sylvia to grieve the loss of her unborn baby properly before he told her anything. "Hey," Sylvia greeted the boy with a warm cup of coffee and a kiss on the cheek before walking away to her room.

Kazuki Ryder, the boy's best friend, looked at him and said, "Ey, so you finally made your move." Kazuki nudged his friend with his elbow. "No, never." Hikari scowled at his best friend. "I didn't know you were interested in my sister." Rogue raised a brow at the pink-haired boy. "I'm not," he denied, despite his red face.

Now Sylvia wasn't an idiot, so she knew that Hikari Hinata's team had made some progress in the case but never got around to asking how far in they were since she herself didn't have much time for herself with the new project around the corner. Hence, it left everyone with a lot of work.
