After I told her who she was, I returned home because my mother didn't like it if I was roaming in the woods after sundown. I felt sorry for Hazel a.k.a. Lyndis because I had to leave her behind with a lot of questions. I heard her call my name when I was already far into the woods, but I couldn't go back.
When I came home, my mother started yelling at me, of course. She doesn't understand, and she won't ever understand because she's not much like my father, who died a few years ago. He would go out with me into the woods to hunt or to spot animals.
After dinner, I went to bed to go to sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking about the lovely face I saw today. Lyndis the half elf with her beautiful eyes and her soft voice that made my ears tingle. I looked up at the stars, and after a few hours, I finally fell asleep.
The next day, I went back to Hazel to tell her more about her past, but when I got to the gate, I couldn't get into her garden because I stumbled upon her wall. She kept the shield up today. It was useless to yell to her in her garden because she wouldn't hear me anyway, but she would hear it if I knocked on the shield at a certain point because that's where the alarm was wired. I went down there to knock, but just when I was about to knock, something weird happened. I could stretch my arm through the wall. I could still see the wall, but in some weird way, I could walk through. I'm guessing she altered the shield for me so I could pass through. I walked down to her still invisible and tried to talk to her but without startling her. Then it occured to me that she might not even know that I am in her garden already, so I didn't say a word instead. I didn't want to scare her again. But somehow she had noticed that I had entered her garden and she started talking to me. "Isyx, I know you're there. I altered the shield, so I get a notification if someone passes through. I have a lot of questions for you."
