Isyx goes to Lyndis again

I jolted awake in the middle of the night. I had a nightmare about Lyndis, who got attacked by the other elves from my village. I really have to break this news to my mother in a way that she would accept it without making it a problem. In any way the people from our village shouldn't attack her because technically she was their princess. After drinking a little bit of water, I went back to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up from the sunshine that came into my room and was shining right on my face. I wondered how Lyndis' night would have been. I left her in such a confusing state and in such a hurry that I actually felt a little sorry for doing that to her. My schedule was packed so tight yesterday so that I could only visit her for a little while. Her house isn't that nearby. Actually, it's pretty far from the palace, but a little while from the village. Still I had to be careful sneaking out because I didn't want my mother to know I would be gone for the day again, and the villagers would get suspicious about where I was going all the time. The next time I would be spotted, they for sure would send someone after me.

After breakfast, which seemed to go on forever, I snuck out wearing a costume to hide my face and using my soft walking shoes so I could move swift and easy without making a sound. I evaded the village, so I was sure nobody would follow me to see what I was doing out there all alone. I turned invisible as fast as I reached the border of the protected area.

After a long but refreshing walk, I reached Lyndis' house. I guess she was still sleeping, and who could blame her. Even I was still really sleepy when I left. I let myself into her garden. Because she altered the shield, I could go in and out without any trouble. I sat myself down on one of the benches from the picnic table and admired the flowers in her garden. They were so beautiful and all so different from each other. I enjoyed the sun on my face and dozed off a little.
