To the palace

The next morning, I woke up even before dawn. Today would be the big day where Isyx would introduce me to his mother. I would bet that he would still be asleep or at least having breakfast. I was really seeing forward to seeing him again, but also to discovering what life would be in the village where part of my origin lay. I was thrilled but also terrified. What if the elves over there wouldn't like me? What if they would chase me away like in my nightmares.

A few hours later, I heard my phone alarm, but I didn't hear the gate, so I went outside to take a look. I knew it was Isyx, but I wondered how he could have come in without using the gate. Then I saw something I would have never expected. Isyx was flying with his own wings. It made me speechless. When Isyx landed in front of my face, he saw the look on my face and said: "What's the matter? Have you never seen an elf flying before?" and on his face appeared a very big smile.

"I brought the supplies, look. A wig from my mothers closet and the rest of the clothes are all mine. I figured if you were going to walk around in town, it'd be best if nobody would recognize you." I nodded and looked at what was in the bag. The black cloak with hood was very well made. It looked like cashmere, but it was just plain cotton with a satin lace to bind it closed on the front. "Come on, let's take this inside and see if it fits. It probably will, but it might be a little too big." I tried on all the clothes, and with a little bit of remodeling and some magic, we made it fit. I took the fake ears. I managed to make way earlier for a halloween party back when I was younger. Somehow, back then I already pitched in to my elf side back then. I put on the clothes, the ears, the wig, and the shoes and showed the resulting look to Isyx. It looked great, or at least that's what he told me. But at that moment we encountered a problem. "Uhm, Isyx, I don't have wings like you." I said. He walked around me and poked a certain place on my back. "No, you don't have wings yet. They are growing but not as fast as mine grew. That might be because of the fact that you are only half elvish. For now, we just have to conjur up some fake ones. You can't fly with them, but at least you'll see them under the cloak you're wearing." Isyx said some weird elvish words I had never heard before, and what do you know? A beautiful pair of wings started to appear on my back.

After I was completely clothed the way any elvish young man would be, we went to town, walking this time because I still couldn't fly. Isyx took my hand the moment we stepped through the gates. Nobody was watching us. Apparently, he had some invisibility powers, which made me invisible too as soon as he touched my hand. We headed directly to the palace, snuck past the guards, and first went to his room. We discussed how we were going to do the next few steps. I would just keep on his clothes and so on, and I'd wait for Isyx to get me.
