Meeting the queen

The moment I walked into the throne room, I heard the difference in my footsteps. I walked pretty loud compared to Isyx. I walked to the middle of the room and bowed. The wig fell off my head, but I figured that it shouldn't matter from now on. Isyx used my human name anyway. After I thanked the queen for her time, I looked up and saw the terror that filled her face. I didn't really know what to do next. I was quite shocked by her reaction. I had no idea she would be so terrified by my appearance. I looked very much like a real elf, but I walked like any other human would walk.

Queen Eladriel addressed me with my human name and asked me who exactly I would be. When she asked, it seemed like the world had stopped moving. I got dizzy and felt funny in my stomach. I felt like I was gonna barf. What was I going to tell her? If I would tell the truth, I knew she would throw me in the dungeon. I looked at Isyx, but his face didn't say a thing. No emotion or anything else. This time, I was terrified. I told Queen Eladriel that I was Isyx' friend and that we had been meeting a couple of times before he introduced me to her. She seemed pleased with that answer, I also told her that I was not an elf like she probably would have heard in my loud footsteps.

She let me leave the room without asking any further questions but asked if Isyx could stay for a bit to tell her more about me. So I left for the hall and took a seat there on the sofa. It was very comfortable but a little too small for me. Because I am part human, I have longer legs than most elves, so I am a little taller than most elves and also too tall for their furniture. It took a while before Isyx came back, so I took my phone out of one of the pockets and started playing a game on it. The guards were flabbergasted when they saw my cellular device and how it worked. They didn't pay any attention to their work anymore at all so when Isyx came through the door to the throne room both guards were startled when he creeped behind their backs coughed and said "what are you two doing here not paying any attention to who walks in or out that room, back to your posts, the queen is still inside you should be protecting her"

Isyx took me outside of the castle again and back home through the forest after he cast the soft walking spell on my shoes again and put the wig on my head again. He also put my hood back on so I wouldn't attract that much attention from the elves in the city. When we got back to my cottage, I asked Isyx what his mother wanted to know about me and if he answered all questions with honesty. He then said: "Well, not completely, I had to lie to her about the fact that you are in fact Lyndis, my halfsister." He then insisted that we'd stop talking about the subject and said he had to leave for home because he told his mother that he would only drop me off at my home and after that come straight back because she apparently had something important to discuss with him.

I went inside my house and after a very eventful day I decided that I was gonna order some food, eat it and after that go to bed. I was very tired, and my cat Lulu was already asleep on her pillow.
