Two potential lovers, who never realised how much they needed each other until they met.

Bea, a black girl in a predominantly white school, believes that no one will love her and treat her as she should be treated because of the colour of her skin. However, her previous relationship with a black boy, Ryan, enlightens her and makes her realise that she can have a positive relationship with any boy no matter their skin colour.

When she meets Josh, she finds love, a love that she has never felt before. Someone that loves her for all of her imperfections and perfections.

But will it end well?

Oh come on. You know what, two can play that game. 


"I'm guessing, u got some Josh?" - Theo 


Sooner or later, we all find ourselves downstairs together 


"Good morning guys!!" Stephanie smiles and hugs me 


"Hey girl, you look so chirpy! Someone had a good night." 


Listen, I love Stephanie, so now I'm genuinely happy for her if things go well between her and Josh. 


"I did! We need to go out together and get our nails done, so I can tell you ALL about it." 


"Ooo, I would absolutely love to Steph, let's leave after breakfast." 


"Oh my god, I just forgot. Do you wanna come out with us?" 


"No, it's fine don't worry, I'm going out with Theo" 


Theo turns around, "Are you? All the boys are hanging out together today" 


I turn to Ryan, "What you doing today?" 


"Hanging out with Josh and Theo" He rolls his eyes 


He leans closer to whisper "Come to my house when you're done."

Finally, we all start leaving to go our separate ways. 


Grace decided that she wanted to come with us. 


Well, I don't mind her. But she's so clingy, Bea can have her own friends but she doesn't understand that. 


I think Bea and I could've been great friends, if it wasn't for Grace. 


We met at our athletics club at school, we were the only normal ones who signed up. So, we became friends, a month after that Grace had joined the school. 


Grace decided that she had to be best friends with Bea, and I was left to the side. She even got jealous when I was dating Ryan's friend, just because we had double dates. 


"I'm so excited to get my nails done! What colour do you think Theo likes?" 


Bea and I give eachother a look, then giggle 


"Grace, just get the colour you want. Forget Theo." 


Grace silently ignores Bea as we walk in. 


"Well, Steph, you have so much to tell m-" 


"Excuse me, do you ladies want acrylic"
