Overnight in Washington

April took her time eating her croissant. She sat chewing every bite with satisfaction, as Joshy narrated animatedly in front of her, about his time in Paris. She smiled every so often at certain parts of the boy's tale on his adventures in such a fascinating place like Paris. The boy was truly excited.

While Joshy entertained April with his stories, April noticed how much this boy loved art. He actually knew and recited by heart, all the paintings and works from famous, and less known artists, he saw at the Louvre Museum while in Paris. He kept on and on, in excitement, for an hour and a half, as if reliving his experiences there.

April listened without losing interest. She enjoyed every moment she spent with Joshy in this coffee shop. It was ironic, meeting Joshy here, who was running away from his father, in this very same coffee shop, where she sought refuge in the past, as she ran away from Vincent too.
