CHAPTER FOUR

I woke up in a dark smelly room and the only light source came from a shattered narrow window . I was left on the cold floor with a bottle of water and a cold packed salad . I sat on the cold floor as my teeth gritted against each other. I was trembling from the cold at the same time being terrified. I looked up at the ceiling and it was filled with heads of old mannequins . I got up and began to look for an exit as I put away my fear. I didn't find any exit after searching for a long time , I even got hurt because I kept tripping over stuffs I couldn't see. I went back to the light source and sat down leaning my back against the wall.

" Why me ?" I cried out

" Why this family?"

" W...W... What .....if.... Nathan comes back to kill me." I asked myself

" Julian...oh... Julian. This is all my fault." I said blaming myself for what happened to him.

" Once I get out of here I'm gonna make you pay... Nathan!" I said as tears trickled down my face.

Julian's P.O.V

After three days, my mom and stepdad returned from their vacation. We all sat down at the dinner table for breakfast and for once my stepdad smiled at me . I was shocked and scared at the same time.

" So Julian I've heard you've been a good boy ever since we left " he said and I nodded with a faint smile.

" Yes dad ,he has been." Nathan replied and ruffled my hair.

" I think you need to give him a reward, don't you think so." He suggested.

" Yeah, I guess you're right." My step dad replied with a smile.

" Oh!..... Julian!... where is your brother?" My mom suddenly asked me and my heart skipped a beat. I looked at Nathan and he kept smiling.

" Oh.. I forgot to tell you but he went on a trip with some of his coworkers." Nathan lied

" Why didn't he tell us." My dad complained.

" I think it's because he didn't want to disturb you guys on your vacation. Right Julian." He asked me

I slammed the table and got up" he is lying." I blurted out whiles tears were running down my cheeks.

" He took advantage of me and took Eren away threatening to kill mom and I if I ever tell anyone."I courageously said whiles looking at Nathan who gave me a deadly stare running chills down my spine.
